The workshop begins with attention on the pelvis, hip and knee joints and an exploratory range of motion practices.
This workshop will deepen the students understanding of the anatomy of the hip and knee joints. Limitations, injuries and medical conditions that arise here to limit movement will be addressed.
The follow on yoga therapy practice will explore yoga practices that create better alignment, better mobility and overall better functioning of the hip and knee joints.
Full range of motion of the hip joint and knee joint and the balance of the muscle action (stretch and strengthen) that controls movement will be explored and practiced,
