Preview: Friday 3 August, 7pm
Meet the Artist: Saturday 11 August, between 12 — 2pm
Permian is an exploration and expression of the fragility of the natural environment through sculptural installations and photography.
Seasonal changes and decay are a process of the natural world, but human expansion and behaviour are causing rapid changes in the climate, resulting in instability and irreversible damage to nature.
My work will not try to illustrate climate change, but will aim to draw on the notion of change, decay, and the processes of preservation and the lasting impression of life long after it is gone.
You are invited to join me for a wine reception on Friday 3 August from 7pm. There will also be the option to purchase a coffee from the cafe (I personally recommend their guest filter coffees!).
Exhibition continues until Saturday 29 September.
