“Rebekah Fitch has become something of a Northern Irish pop phenomenon” – Hot Press
Combining the artistry of Florence + the Machine, the thought-provoking lyric writing of Stevie Nicks, and the wonder and curiosity of Bjork, Belfast-based alternative-pop songstress Rebekah Fitch is a new artist that will spark intrigue. The power of music is in its ability to carry a message, and this is exactly what Rebekah does. In a rapidly transforming world, she challenges listeners to think for themselves and find where they stand before being swept away in the chaos. Each song poses a question to the listener, and beyond the memorable pop melodies, there lies a voice that begs to challenge how we think.
Her music is influenced by an eclectic mix of artists, ranging from the likes of Lana Del Rey and Lorde, to an interest in the experimental and electronic music of Bjork and Portishead. Armed with multiple diplomas in performance and a First Class music degree from Durham University specialising in electronic composition, Rebekah has the skills and credibility to inspire the next generation of female musicians and producers that the world craves so badly.
She has already gained commercial success with playlisting on Cool FM and U105, and was FM104’s Select Irish artist in April, as well as performing live sessions on BBC Radio Ulster and Metro Radio.
With dynamic live shows that have really started to get people talking, Rebekah’s future looks to build on strong beginning.
