Stranded - Joe Loughlin & Marcus Keeley

Seedhead Arts have got together with the Strand to fix Friday nights in the East. Starting January 2018 'Stranded' is an intimate weekly BYO event featuring music, comedy, cabaret and theatre. Tickets are a mere £6.

Joe Loughlin is a drum circle tutor who’s on the edge. He’s been Sandcastling for Jesus and he’s ready to share his song about it with you.

With a PHD in what not to do on Facebook Buy and Sell pages and lots of other madness, much of his show makes little sense at all, but it will still have you laughing…a lot. Equipped with anywhere between one and three Ikea bags full of pound shop props, Joe just wants to share some of his life annoyances in the best possible way.

Marcus Keeley was born in 1989 and the hilarity hasn’t stopped since (or started). He is a stand-up, writer, poet, filmmaker, improviser and general dissenter. He started all this in late 2007 in an attempt to distract himself from the impending doom and banality of his choices in life.

Marcus Keeley founded Voicebox Comedy, Northern Ireland’s only amateur alternative comedy show. He is also a member of Wonder Frog – an improv comedy troupe.

He performs regularly in the UK and has gigged in many teeming cultural metropolises such as Dublin, Paris and Norwich.
