It's been a tricky old time up on the hill. But WRDA is working to make sure women stay connected to politics because MLAs are still working, decisions are still being made that affect our lives and our communities and we need to have our say.
So we're working with the NI Assembly engagement service to throw open the doors of Stormont for the day to women and children. You can explore the place, find out more about how politics works, have lunch with some MLAs and tell them what you really think.
We are providing buses from Shankill / Falls / Windsor women's centres all leaving at 10am and returning at 1pm so sign up in reception at those 3 centres if you want a seat. There are limited numbers so don't leave it too late. Or if you want to make your own way there just email [email protected]
to let us know so we have an idea of numbers.
We're especially keen to have you if you've never been to Stormont before and would like to see what all the fuss is about. It will be a relaxed, welcoming event with activities for children aged 0-4.
