Taking part in Northern Ireland’s first run for mental health is a fantastic way of supporting Mental Health UK.
Join up to 700 runners of all abilities to support and raise awareness of mental illness and to raise valuable funds for Mental Health UK.
The 5K timed run and 1K Family Fun Run will take place in Ormeau Park on 18 March at 1.15pm. The 5K route will involve two laps of the beautiful Ormeau Park. The Family 1K will be an inner lap along the same route. Whether you run, jog or walk there will be plenty of support and encouragement along the way.
Registration is priced at £13.00 per person for the 5K and £5 per person for the 1K.
All registered participants will receive a bespoke Mental Health UK medal and refreshments at the finish line.
This event is capped so you will need to get a move on and register soon.
Mental Health UK works across Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales to improve the lives of people with mental illness and to support carers. Together our four founding member organisations, MindWise, Rethink Mental Illness, Support In Mind Scotland and Hafal have worked for over 40 years to provide services, information and advice to support anyone affected by mental illness.
We run over 400 services and 200 volunteer support groups in communities around the UK. Over 90,000 people rely on our organisations every year to help them get through crises, live independently and realise they are not alone. Last year our health information was accessed online over 3.6 million times. Despite the size of these figures, we know many more people need our help.
Your fundraising will enable us to support more people across the UK who are affected by mental health problems to access our services, information and support and enable us to give additional help to carers and family members of people who are affected.
