During the Be Brilliant, Be Resilient term we will give your kids all the skills they will ever need to be BRILLIANT and RESILIENT with our super 7 step classes.
Each steps takes your child confidently from high energy down to a nice relaxed state.
The steps are as follows:
1 Movement: Warm up moves and exercises, helps bonding within the group and release energy and tension.
2 Mindfulness Games or Craft: Activity games for vitality, creativity and joy they will help your child explore and deal with their emotions also craft items are made to take home so kids can practice their new skills. (Breathing sticks, Fidget spinner mindfulness wheels, calming jars etc)
3 Stretching and balance: A set of yoga inspired stretches releasing physical tension, promoting inner strength and power.
4 Resilience: Each week we will use resources, do activities, or show videos to help your child cope and build resilience.
5 Breathing: Exercises to teach diaphragmatic breathing, this helps calm the nervous system, improve health, eliminate anxiety and promote inner peace.
6 Affirmations: Positive affirmations are used every week to teach kids about, confidence and how to feel happy about themselves, accepting how great and unique they are, giving and accepting compliments from others.
7 Visualisations: Incorporates deep body relaxations, mindfulness, guided imagery and visualisation.
These sessions are suitable for 5 — 7 year Other classes are available for older children. This term lasts for 6 weeks and cost £45 per child payable in advance.
