Please come along to our annual Christmas Remembrance Service in Mount Merrion Parish Church on Tuesday 5th December at 7:30pm.
The service will be conducted by Rev. Adrian Green to include his candle-lighting litany, the church band, bagpiper and the opportunity to write the name of your loved one on a cardboard decoration and hang it on the Christmas tree. Your decoration will remain on the tree over Christmas and a prayer will be said for your loved one at each Sunday service.
Your loved one will be uniquely remembered when their name and picture appears on the overhead screen during the remembrance DVD. Due to time restrictions, only the names of the people that have passed away since January 2015 will be shown.
Once again we would like to help children in care homes in Northern Ireland by hopefully brightening their Christmas a little bit by helping the NSPCC with Christmas toys and gifts. We would therefore ask you for a small token donation upon your entrance to the church. Every single penny will go directly to the NSPCC to help the kids in care get a nice Christmas gift. Thanks to you, last year we managed to raise £831.08 for the children in care.
Refreshments and mulled wine will be served afterwards and you will be presented with a token gift.
Hope to see you all there, please get in touch if you need any information.
