100s of lanterns and
1000s of people meet at the Christmas Tree
This year there will be two parade starting points: Townsend Street at the Lower end of the Road and Woodvale Avenue at Upper Shankill. Participants will join together in Mid Shankill for a finale performance and the Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on.

Music Stage performances from 6:30 to 8:15pm at Christmas Tree
Two Lantern Parades to the Christmas Tree:
One leaves Townsend Street at 6:45
One leaves Woodvale Avenue at 7:00
Christmas songs on stage and big band finale with singer Holly McCoubrey, before the Christmas Tree Lights switch on at 8:15

In the final week there are still opportunities to make lanterns in FREE workshops, for participation in the parade. This includes an open-to-all workshop on WEDNESDAY 29th afternoon (3.15-5.15) at B.2 [Nelson Memorial Church hall] right at the Christmas tree site.
