The Rainbow Project
CQHQ, 23-31 Waring Street, BT1 2DX Belfast, United Kingdom
We invite you to continue the conversations started during Belfast and Foyle Prides when we considered how our diverse and multiple identities might be celebrated in a society that struggles to move out of conflict. The next conversations will focus on the following emerging themes.
How far have we come on the journey towards gender equality?
How do emerging Transgender identities impact on our notions of what it is to be a man or a woman?
Do women have a distinct role to play from their male counterparts in continuing to contribute to peace and reconciliation in NI?
Community Dialogue is a charitable organisation that empowers people through dialogue and training to address issues of division and exclusion.
The Rainbow Project is a health organisation that works to improve the physical, mental and emotional health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender people in Northern Ireland.
As we are still at the early stages of our conversations newcomers are welcome. All we ask is that you are over 18 and open to exploring themes of diversity, identity and reconciliation in a respectful and constructive way.
