This workshop is suitable for experienced practitioners and for those who are completely new to mindfulness. It is an opportunity to find out what mindfulness is by experiencing it for yourself and also to deepen your personal practice.
We will explore what mindfulness is and how it translates into real life. Whilst the 2 hour workshop is mostly experiential you will have the opportunity to explore any difficulties with the practice and questions arising within a small group setting.
Practices will include bodyscan, walking meditation, sitting meditations and mindful movement.
The small group allows for greater exploration and discussion around the benefits of mindfulness as well as difficulties that arise in the practice. An important element of this workshop is how to integrate mindfulness into our everyday lives.
