We've done Ireland, we've done Britain, and we've done Europe....now we take on the World (gins!)
Join us and our friends, Neil Wine (Groomsport), on Friday 25th July in the Courtyard for Part IV of The Indie Gin Clüb ft the final batch best in Small Batch Rest of the World Gins.
This special event will feature 5 of the best small-batch gins from around outside of Europe (St George Terroir, USA — recommended by Bones our American friend at Part III; Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin, Australia; Ungava Gin, Canada; Lighthouse Gin, New Zealand; Colombian White Dry Gin, Colombia), and you will hear not only the origins of each gin, but will be educated on their taste profiles, and even which tonic and which garnish goes with which gin. There are no rules…
Furthermore, to accompany your gin throughout the evening we will serve platters of the very best in Irish cheeses and crackers, sourdough breads, some delicious charcuterie courtesy of Ispini in Moira, and other lovely local nibbly things. The night will conclude with a special gin inspired pudding by La Coquine, our in-house chocolatier and dessert queen.
Gin is very much the drink of the moment and with the ever increasing variety of Gins on offer this will certainly be a great opportunity to try something different.
